Carole Leonard

Carole makes jewellery for everyday wear. She combines precious and non-precious metals. In some of the work you can see in Avant Garde she has used silver, 18ct gold, Perspex, steel and semi-precious stones. Carole has most recently expanded her knowledge of working on forged steel, and in particular Damascus steel with its beautiful ‘filo pastry’ effect patterns. The use of perspex in Carole's work provides a strong and surprisingly hard wearing vehicle for colour in jewellery which can be worn every day, and we find it consistently popular amongst our customers who love the use of colour in her jewellery.
