Born in 1968, Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Catherine studied for her 1st class degree in Jewellery at Middlesex University before furthering her skills with an MA at the Royal College of Art. She is inspired by natural forms and her work is characterised by the contrasting use of metal colours, finishes and interchangeable components. In 2002 Catherine was made a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths and Freeman of London. She has had major exhibitions in Berlin, Los Angeles, Gent, Munich, Oslo, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, San Francisco and, of course, London from where she continues to work. Commissions include; cufflinks, made for His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales and for No.10, Downing Street and jewellery for the 'Harry Potter' series of movies.
