Nicola Becci

Nicola studied at Glasgow School of Art for five years, and now works mainly in silver, brass and 9ct gold. The pieces are etched and then oxidised. She sees her work as an exploration of decoration using many sources of inspiration; primarily the rich symbolism of the Catholic Church, the trappings of royalty, playing cards and chess, calligraphy, and the language of symbolism. Nicola has sold to Dame Judi Dench, Amanda Burton, Isla Blair and Julian Glover.
