Please note that each item of jewellery is individually made to
order, and some items may take up to four weeks to deliver (unless
otherwise stated). The majority of items will be delivered far sooner,
but if you would like to know more specifically, or have a particular
request for delivery dates, please contact us and we will endeavour to meet your requirements.
returns, refunds and how to complain
If you are not happy with what you have bought from Avant Garde's
website, you are entitled to a ten day cooling off period, during which
time you may return* or exchange items. A full refund will be made
when the item(s) have been returned to Avant Garde unworn, in good
condition and with original packaging. On receipt of the returned
item(s) at Avant Garde, purchases made by credit card will be refunded
to credit card accounts, and purchases made by cheque will be refunded
by cheque. We will bear the cost of return only when the goods are
faulty or damaged, and when they are returned as in the instructions
detailed in the returns form which came with your purchase. This
includes returns in the instance of an exchange.** By prior agreement,
i.e if you are buying a piece in advance as a present, it is possible

returning an item
If you want to return an item to Avant Garde, you will need to
complete the returns form which came with your delivery. Please follow
the instructions carefully. Items returned in a condition other than
that which they left Avant Garde, cannot be accepted in return, unless
faulty or damaged in transit.
making a complaint
We hope that you are happy with your purchase, and the service
you receive, but if you are not, please direct your complaint to us via
the postal address, e-mail address, or telephone number found on our
contact us page.
*Please note that these terms apply to purchases made via
the website only. We do not give refunds for unwanted items bought in
Truro, but we are more than happy to exchange them or issue a credit
note.
**In most cases it will not be possible to make a
refund on items which have been specially commissioned and vary from
the pieces found on the website (ring, bangle and bracelet size
variations are exempt from this). Please note that when purchasing
online, to proceed past the checkout indicates that you have read the terms and conditions,
and that having done so signifies compliance. Such contracts are
subject to The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
