The gallery is situated in a red brick Mews of eight shops off the city’s main shopping street, Pydar Street.

From Viaduct car park: take a left out of the car park entrance and walk down the hill for approximately 100yd, whereupon you will see Pydar Street ahead of you, on the other side of the road (New Look is at the top). Continue down Pydar Street for 100yds and look out for Thornton's chocolate shop on the right. When you reach Thornton's you have found the Mews— Avant Garde is at the other end.
From other directions: head towards the front of the Cathedral and once there walk up the pedestrianised Pydar Street, which begins where Phones 4 U and River Island are. Pydar Mews is about 150yds on the left. Boots chemist is opposite the Mews and Avant Garde is at the other end. buy designer jewellery buy designer
